Really quick question RE Prodyssey

Hi all, Just a quick one - I've borrowed a Prodyssey from work, but it didn't have anything with it, just the unit. I know it ships with a 12V 1.5A AC adapter, but looking through my box of wall-warts I've only got a 12V 1.3amp, and a 12V 1.6amp adapter. Which one should I use? I've had luck with ma...

Hi, I just skimmed everyone elses replies so if someone else mentioned this then I'm sorry, but... You might want to try two ribbon mics (or other figure-8 polar patterned mics). Just aim the null point of one mic at the guitar for recording the vocal, and the null point of the other mic at the sing...

Hi, I think there's a freeware programme called driver cleaner or something (can't remember the exact name), which should sort that out - I only used it once and it solved a similar problem. I would, however, make sure to have all the drivers for your hardware handy, as I seem to remember it deleted...

Thanks for your help dudes, I thought I was doing it right at the Scope end, cheers for confirming that. It's obviously a Sonar thing I'm missing... Garyb - I'm using the xlr ins to connect the balanced output of a guitar multi-fx box, and when I route the analogue source directly to an stm mixer I ...

Simple problem, please help!

Hi all, I'm trying to do something fairly simple - record a stereo source via the XLRs on my Scope Pro plus card to an audio channel in Sonar 6PE (for recording). I've managed to get the individual outputs from Sonar to the inputs on the Scope mixer, so I'm guessing this is just the reverse. Here's ...

Hi Gary, If you've got the Control Room mixer (I think it comes with one of the mixer bundles), you can just patch the output of your mixer to that. That's my temporary solution, 'till I get an SM Pro M-Patch 2. 80 quid for a volume nob might sound a bit silly, but it also has phono-ins which would ...

You can extract the uncompressed digital audio from a CD using Sony's Soundforge, and probably numerous others, then play that back through Scope. The difference in quality between using that method and playing the CD in a CD player (provided you use the same amp & speakers as you do playing fro...

fresh install, advice needed...

Hi all, I'm about to do a fresh install of windows xp, and would like some help as to the install order of things... Windows (& all usual tweaks), then Scope, then Sonar 6? Also, is it possible to route the channel outputs from sonar into the channel inputs on Scope, so I can use the sequencer's...

Scope crashes on startup

Hi Astroman, Cheers for the speedy reply! It looks like rewarding learning curve, and you're right that I should learn how these things work separately, before diving in at the deep end. I'm about to do what I hope will be my last install of windows before everything works together (ha ha), and ther...

Help!! Scope crashes on startup!

Hello Scopers! I'm new to this forum (and to Scope hard/software), but this looks like the place to get help. I've just installed SFP, and it sounds great - I've had a play-around with the synths and they sound buff, same goes for effects and signal processing. However I'm completely new to the whol...
