Personally I want it all, it can only be good to get a cracking new box of tricks et al as an addition to what I already have.
I'm also in no hurry to get rid of my current equipment just incase the files don't port over exactly or my projects don't load the same. Presets and load order have been a nightmare. I know it's a fiddle but I've worked hard to get them in a state I like em and to think of possibly losing any of that, arrrrghh. No.
I'll try and be porting stuff over for sure, I'd be crazy not to with the expansion of DSP but it's like whenever I've upgraded my DAW, I've found bits missing or didn't work the same.
At least when I port over and expand those working projects I'll be able able to do so with greater gusto for experimentation safe in the knowledge I've still the original if I screw it up.
I'm also sure that with the expanded power of Xite, I'll be too busy enjoying building up new uber projects for my amazement
Plus having my current cards built into another machine just leaves more possibilities or have I already said that
But we'll still have to wait and see what Sonic-Core have to offer. There could be untold carrots on sticks, enough to make everyone happy and why not, with an excellent procduct and the correct marketing this stuff will sell and sell IMHO, beats everything else hands down (albeit on paper so far and on a few reviews), so why shouldn't Sonic-Core honour their devotees.
We've stayed loyal with the platform for many years, encouraging others to join in, expanding their userbase for free and we've devotedly brought all they've had to offer. That's gotta be worth a tonne as not only have their dedication to the platform but ours too, has kept the dream alive and kicking.
So maybe 'soon' we'll get to see.
