this device permits a very accurate control of the pitch in a very limited rage.
i used this trick:
- load a modular window
- insert a value monitor (from flexor, but i remember there was also another free device) and assign to it CC1
- connect the output to a compressor
- load a "constant bipolar value" and a mixer and mix the constant value and the compressor output
- connect the result to another value monitor and assign to the slider CC2
now move the modwhell and adjust the compressor+offset in order to get in the second value monitor values near the minimum.
if you now assign the pitch control of the spaceF device to CC 2, you are able to fine tune the input signal in a very precise way, using all the excursion of your modwheel.
i used this trick to (try to) put in tune a bad-played flute track!
