There was a poll here in Poland about the Euro2004 results. Some % of people said... Brazil would be the winner and some of the people said... Poland

pfew....!!!!

man, that was a sweat shower!
i gotta hand it to you Petal and your fellow citizens: denmark OWNED the game.

it feels like sweden won a tie while denmark lost a 3 pointer.

one penalty shot and one goal out of pure chaos was all we could squeeze out tonight.

you danes sure deserved that quarter final! while us swedes.. well we played well against bulgaria and 2nd half of the italy game.

score 2-2... i can imagine some conspiracy headlines tomorrow

2-2 is a bit of a co-incidence... just as the Italians predicted.

I have only one thing to say about Larson's penalty decision yesterday:

6.0 6.0 6.0 5.9 6.0 6.0 6.0

The Italians lost it by playin crap negative football throughout the tournament. They should have spent more time creating something instead of moaning about what might happen in the Sweden v Denmark game.

Just MHO... I have many Italian friends but they too think the Italy team is full of prima donnas and players who just don't deliver

Gratz to scandinavia, a lovely and hard match, it was a good descision to watch your match and not the catwalk thingie match.

EDIT:Yesterday morning I saw two players of the italian team playing a secret soccer match, after 45min one said, ouch now you are the ball....

Today the german team must win to qualify for the next round. Czechs will only come out with a B-team they said. This will be a hard match I guess, because all those B-team players have a good audience, there will be many headhunters around, looking for new players.
Anyway, I hope we will make it.

I have to ask you danes here, just as I asked a danish colleague at work after the game: Will Denmark make it so "Vi är röde, vi är vide" becomes their new national anthem?

I have no idea what your national anthem is like, but I sure know that one

It's an old footbaal-something-cup-pop-song which was originally song by an older danish national football team from the 80's I think, maybe '86. And one must afmit it had a catchy ring to it.... something you can remember after 90 beers, a football match and beers, then another 90 beers and a pick-pocket: "Vi er røde, vi er hvide, vi står sammen, side om side".........

And to all you other teams out there, be careful because: "we're red, we're white, we are danish dynamite!"

Well, it seems like our danish brothers will face Czech Nation in their quarterfinal. That might end in tears för the danes because the Czech scare the crap outta me, hehe. They´re not only good, they´re absolutely wicked.

Allthough it would be nice with a Swedish - Danish Final. One can always hope. . . .

wasn't that the team they had to collect from the beaches and/or swimming pools, no training, no strategy, nothing prepared? And, of course, they just played football and beated everything and became champions in 92? (jugoslavia was qualified and was banned because of the war)
