scope 5 crashes when virtual drive is created

Post by ARCADIOS »

when i create a virtual drive with power iso or alcohol120, scope crashes giving this:

"The istruction at"0x00b311c1" referenced memory at "0x000000508". The memory could not be "read"
click OK to terminate the program"

i wonder if it is a scope5 RC problem or it is a problem that is caused by my pc?? :-?

In terms of "normal" I mean for that kind of platform... I think its structure related... If you know ProTools
you probably know about it's problems with mounting and unmounting devices... With ProTools running, you are not able to unmount any device!
ProTools just blocks this and you have tp quit or use PTs unmount feature in workspace window...
I think it's not really a showstopper to quit SFP if you are doing crazy things with your harddrives... I would quit any other programm! :D

Man, "Doctor, doctor my arm hurts whenever I move it like this!" (waves arm in the air)
"Is there anything i can do to stop the pain?"

Doctor, "Yes, stop waving your arm like that."

for some reason, nero image drive doesn't cause any problems, but it only supports a couple of formats

Dont know if DT has fixed their issues, but this tool always worked flawless in win7, so maybe it would work for other driver related issues.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

It isn't DT's fault (nor Nero), it is Scope that crashes whenever a new CD-ROM device is created, probably because of the akai file system support (very old *BUG*).
