movin_05 is release-version 1

I think most of you will consider them boring. I like 'em to just let go some groups through & being influenced by other groups... For some issues better use a sidechain-comp, but for some they just do what they should....

b.t.w. control-manip inserts are as in MOVEQ+ not normal inserts but -as the name says- for manipulating the controlling signal with e.g. MOVamily.

I put cm2 from MOVamily modules in this package too... use Neutrons DSP in DSP-folder...

b.t.w. "m" is just a master fader I needed it midiautomated because my final amp is a bit far away from my desk and wanted to have it AFTER scope mixer

Martin

EDIT:
- Preset-bug removed with v.05. I forgot about thatone..., sorry
- control-manipulator-insert-bug removed, cm2 sounded awful before corrected thisone with v.05
- Now you can label stereo-ins 1-4, very important for complex projects...

EDIT:
- No changes. Couldn't find any more bugs in 05. It works nice here!

It's simple: (as I said, you might call it boring)

- Connect, lets say a whole background song through first L & R of 8x4.
- Then connect Voice to the sc 1.
- Set the EF reacting to voice-in as you like.
- Set substract, so that incoming voice pushes down background.
- Connect voice & out LR 1 to mixer

That should be nice for speaker apps in radio etc. I like to work with many groups being (very subtle) influenced by other groups (therefore the multiple ins under one surface), which gives a song some dynamics back that were lost due to compression etc...

It's not a 'real' compressor or expander, just a simple envelope-follower which influences loudness in positive or negative direction, but I'm nearly finished working on an insert-module which will make it react like a 'real' compressor.

Not really, but of course you can connect first 2 outs to 2nd two ins ... and so on... That way it would be multiple sidechains... to one signal way...
That's indeed how I used it once on a drumtrack, first HiHat getting kicked by snare, then dropped by bassdrum ;)

The stereo VU is somehow irritating: It's settable for each control or audio way.
