Shit, I finally got everything set up, and am just trying out some of the "stock" synths...
Man, I'm really impressed. Excellent sound quality!

Some of the 'stock' synths have been given a slight make-over by wavelength, which give them an even sweeter sound, check em out at http://www.track0.com/wavelength look in the Freebee section.

...And if you want to really drool, go over to Zarg Music (http://www.zargmusic.com) and download the Prophet Plus demo, it beats or matches high-end VAs, and definitely has a 'sequential circuits' sound.

And Celmo ! He makes some of the sweetest sounds on Pulsar. And he does good demos too - soft pings and unlimited time - you can get a true feel for the device before buying.

And my advice is buy. There are some great free devices but a little money goes a long way toward even better sounds.

In the free/stock devices my favs are Lightwave and Prisma.

Rainer Hain of german Keyboards magazine did it for review of Scope.
