Shit, I finally got everything set up, and am just trying out some of the "stock" synths...
Man, I'm really impressed. Excellent sound quality!
Bye!
Oh wow....
Some of the 'stock' synths have been given a slight make-over by wavelength, which give them an even sweeter sound, check em out at http://www.track0.com/wavelength look in the Freebee section.
...And if you want to really drool, go over to Zarg Music (http://www.zargmusic.com) and download the Prophet Plus demo, it beats or matches high-end VAs, and definitely has a 'sequential circuits' sound.

And Celmo ! He makes some of the sweetest sounds on Pulsar. And he does good demos too - soft pings and unlimited time - you can get a true feel for the device before buying.
And my advice is buy. There are some great free devices but a little money goes a long way toward even better sounds.
In the free/stock devices my favs are Lightwave and Prisma.
