how to minimize latency?

hi.. i found much latency with vss3! with 50% loaded plugin there is 200ms latency is there !! there is another mode which has very low latency but it consume 80% cpu processing!.. why powercore uses pc processing power !! ?? and my setup is : core 2duo/xp/4gb/ssd/....scope4.0/powercore_6000/duende_...

can you install a pcie 2.0 x1 card into PCIE 3.0 x16 slots ?... like duende pcie 1x card....

im coming from 4.0 to 5.1 .... do you know how much that will cost? (non-EU)

a old pci based card sound isn't better than the new xite which is a pcie card...
is that because of pci/pcie?... or ad/da converter or both?

buy the v5. is it too expensive? i guess mix/master and synth/soft these 2 are free with v5. few years ago these 2 software cost $700-$1000 !! n you can get these 2 for free with v5... thanks

my os is intel ssd and samples are in the usb3. its dam faster then ssd. i wish if i can install everything on it
