Hi - I'm new at this so stick with me...

Just bought one of these controllers and it's great, but I have a question.

While I am aware that when you save a project, all MIDI controller number assignments are stored within it, is it possible to set up a synth (say Minimax) so that every time you load it up, regardless of the current project, the same (previously set and saved) cc number assignments appear?

I am able to store my own templates on the Novation, but the only way they work is when I load a project whose settings already match.

**Also, if anyone else is using this keyboard with SFP, have you had any trouble with its USB driver. It works flawlessly when routed directly to my Pulsar II but when routing via Cubase (VST24), to record a performance, the timing is on the piss on the recording (no it's not my playing!!). This only occurs within recorded phrases and otherwise operation is normal - using one of the standard MIDI ports fixes this, but having one USB cable for power and MIDI I/O is tidier...

Thanks
Andy

Yup I'm having some problems with the Remote under USB - I'm going to test with batteries and a midi lead tommorow - I'll let you know how it goes.

This is something that has happened to me as a result of having the settings of my Computer (i.e. Computer as listed in Device Manager) set to ACPI. When set to Standard PC it went away forever. What are you set to?

Sam
