How about some new mixer devices? The Creamware ones are very expensive and much more than I need. All I need is some buss outputs (4 or  which I can assign channels to. Can anyone help?

OK....Here's what I'm talking about. What I want to do is have 16 channels coming in across adat from my VSL2020 card. I then want to mix these inputs with whatever synth/sampler devices I'm using on SFP and then multitrack record via 4-8 busses. I've got 2 luna cards with SFP3.1. The problem is that with the main studiotools package, the included mixers don't offer a solution to this problem (no / not enough buss outputs). It just seems strange that there's every other type of device available for free or as shareware, but no mixers. What I'd love to see is something like my old Spirit Folio Rackpac. (something with a little more routing flexibility). I for one don't need dynamics processors on every channel.

For mixers cheap on dsp, go check out http://www.j9ksys.com
The faders are not de-zipped, so they might crackle when you move them. But they take very little dsp.

I'm sure combining small mixers can get you the same result.
