hi all, i'm thinking about getting a pulsar2 board and i'm curious about the sound quality of the card. Perhaps someone here can do a RMAA test? (http://audio.rightmark.org/) I just wanna see how it stacks up with the other cards.

thanks.

Hi,

Apparently the RMAA test didn't find the phase problems on SB, IMO that makes RMAA irrelevant...

Here's a discussion about Pulsar quality: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... 46&forum=5

Good luck on your choise of soundcard/dsp studio!

You have to belive in your ears. Maths is not always the best judge

Of course it's a question of taste but Pulsar analogue I/Os sound great (hi-end, pro or whatever you can call it  ). The sound is fat and pearl in one. High frequencies are not metalic and the low end sounds true. IMHO
