Anyone using the Spectrum Scan Calculator?
Haven't tried it yet. I read the information within the Excel-file but I still don't get what it really does and why...
Cheers,
Carl.

Hi!
using vorbs scan calculator is easy.
what it basicaly does, is by the input of three numbers, (curve, hi and low) it outputs a serries of 16 prime numbers you can input to vorbs spectrum page and make your own prime spectrum spectrum scans for vorb.
how it works: there are 2262 prime numbers between 1 - 20,000 (which reprisents HZ). 2262 is the number of prime numbers.
what you have to do, is enter the low number of prime numbe and high number of prime number to determain the range of frequencies you want the scan to have. and then determain the curve. between 1-3, 2 being the middle (you can use fractions also... 2.34 and so on)
after you complete these 3 inputs, you will notice you got a new set of 16 numbers.
copy and paste into the spectrum page, and viola you have a new high quality prime nuimber spectrum scan.
any more questions?

Questions...? Don't tempt me.
Is there any way to "shift" the bands? Some of the best vocoders on my Nord Modular is making _really_ weird noises and I believe you can patch diffenent frequencies to different bands.
Or is this what's it all about?
As you can hear, I haven't started experimenting with it yet. So far I'm only using the presets.
Carl.
