Hi all,
I'm using Logic 5.3.0 and am considering to purchase an extra MIDI interface. Since My PS and Luna II ports are all used.
Since we all know that USB is kind of a "No go area" I ran into this s/h Opcode Studio 64X interface, which connects to the com port of the PC or Mac.
The price of a new Emagic MT4 is about the same as I need to pay for the s/h Studio 64x.
I also found XP drivers for the Studio 64x, so that wouldn't be the problem.
What would be wise, as regards of adding an extra MIDI interface ?
Please advice
Thanks
Ronald
Adding a MIDI interface to setup . . . . .
Roon, you found XP drivers for the Opcode!?
) Most recent version I have is Win95, and -wooha- they work for 98 too!
Gimme gimme these XP drivers!
USB is no problem on most computers nowadays, it was a problem on some VIA or older machines.

Well I have an Asus TUSL2-C with a 1.4Ghz P-III so the USB is still an option.
The advantage of the MT4 is that it is a more recent device.
Can anyone tell me a bit on how the two compare, I can read specs, but I'd like some user experience on this.
at0mic, you want the XP drivers ? Sure no problem email me at _musician@_toxic.mine.nu_ Make sure you remove ALL undercsores !
Please tell me what the Studio64x is like in the real world.
