This is what i read on emagix site:
Availability
Logic Platinum 6 will be available for Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X. International delivery will start in mid-february 2003. For detailed information about prices and availability please contact your national distributor
I don't see any PC reference there, or maybe they are keeping this as a surprise? Would be nice...

I wouldn't hope for anything like that.. There are personal conflicts that are the reasons why Mac and Win aren't compatible...
The reason is that Bill Gates and the creator of Mac (don't know his name) used to be partners in the very beginning, but they had different ideas as to how this new platform they were making should be, and after a while they split and Apple computers were born..
I saw a documentary about this some time ago, and let's put it this way; The creator of Apple/Mac didn't have a lot of GOOD things to say about Bill Gates and his Windows pplatform...

well, politics can be funny.(ask mr. bush about his connections to the bin laden family or mr. rumsfelds relationship with mr. hussein) the connections between pcs and macs are deeper than the surface might appear.they both share much soft and hardware.osx is an about face from 9x.things change.........
branding (getting you to be fiercely loyal to a brand)requires that bad things be said about the competition.

All that aside, it seems to be that the base code for logic is platform-independant. There are platform-specific optimizations (which are already in place in 5.x) and the gui itself is dependant on the OS, but the majority of the code shouldn't be tied to osx i think.
However os9 & windows don't fit apple's future plans for dominance of the Computer-based Media creation market(s) that's for sure.
