how to dual boot

i got to dual boot w98 and w2k. I know that i can do it formatting all the partition and installing w98 then w2k...but my w2k os is workin good and i need to reinstall only w98.
please help a poor idiot!!!

risky. Save your data first.
Win98 cannot recognize the W2k entry in the master boot record. So it overwrites it during your re-install. You can use the Repair option in the setup of W2k to correct this. Look for the command fixmbr.

looks somewhat pricey at first glance, but possibly able to improve performance significantly as you can have a bunch of specialized virtual machines with a lean Windows installation on each one.
You can freeze one system and instantly switch to over to another, or even let the background one continue.
I used it on Mac for years, it's worth a try.
