ie mp3s, CDs, mpegs, etc.
there doesn't seem to be a directsound module in SFP - this was how the old pulsar played such things. since installing SFP, i have been unable to hear any sound when using winamp or any other software that tries to use pulsar as a 'normal' PC soundcard, such as windows media player. any ideas?
i have a pulsar 2, and am running under both windows 98 SE and win2000.
help please!

no sound when playing multimedia
In settings > control panel > sounds and audio devices > audio (tab), do you have the default sound playback device as Creamware Play/Rec 1 ?
Edit: above was XP. in 98 it's start > settings > control panel > multimedia > audio (tab)

i thought i would have checked that already - i had. everything in the control panel looks ok. indeed, the wave source works fine when i am using audio editors. it's just for winamp and media player that i get no signal. maybe i should try un- then re-installing both these progs? that's what i'm gonna do. any more suggestions very welcome...
