The name was inspired by the abilities of creating morphing sounds especially with the Waldorf OSC which is used in this Patch.
So Morpheus was dedicated to creating living sounds which could be altered in many ways due to a complex modulation matrix.
Morpheus is able to create very athmospherical pads as well as hard or sometims brutal Synth sounds.
I started creating that patch a long time ago so it doesen't include the latest modules provided for the Modular2 and especially for the new Modular3 (which could enable much more possibilities).
Nevertheless it still brings me a lot of fun creating new presets for Morpheus. That's why i decided to give it to the public domain. Maybe you get into it as well
and we can exchange new sounds in future.
I hope you have as much fun with it as i had and have. Please drop me a note what you think of it. Any feedback is appreciated.

sounds very good. an extra plus to the sound examples, STW manages to demonstrate all the sounds in a very appealing and "sound-suited" way.

IMO STW stands here for STefan Weyel, not Sonic Timeworks

Just downloaded this (on Mac) and the unzipped file does not contain any presets. Anyone else had this?

Err...don't know how that comes. I created Morpheus on Mac first and carried over to PC with no prob. I created additional presets on the PC and upped it here.
If you give me your email i'll send it the presets to you.

Hi STW -The morpheus is a mighty patch-it has restored my faith in the Creamware modular synth with it's unique fat sounds-especially the pads. However I have midi notes hanging on after I have stopped playing on many of the presets(mostly pad ones).I wonder if you could suggest a way to fix this problem. Thanks Rod

Sorry rod. I can't confirm this bug here. Everything plays as it should. I have even no idea how this could be implented in a Modular Patch
Is the midi LED blinking at note off?

Hi STW -I have worked it out now. When I remove the mixer from my project the midi hang goes away. The mixer has a midi source connection to it's midi in port in the default startup project and this must somehow have created midi loop. All smooth sailing now-thanks Rod.

Excellent - thanks for these Stefan.
I've put all 36 excellent sound examples up on the Samples page on my site.

Cheers,

hey stw,
you did a excellent patch on the mod 2.
i think it´s one of the best patches for pulsar.

have you ever tried changing the oscillators?
maybe with the the stock modular osc or some waves from classical synths.
just a hint.
