A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

Hi all!

Is there a noticeable quality difference with this Yamaha Feature : Advanced Audio Master Quality Recording" of Yamaha burner CRW-F1. Is it worth buying it ?
Is it compatible as a master for cd factory ?

Thanks for the advice

As a master is done in consideration of how you mixed your own songs, i doubt a cd burner has the intelligence of doing a Master.
For cd factory, you can prefer DAT over cd at 44.1. It's a good thing to contact some of them to ask what they need and how much is a conversion (bit/samplerate). then , you can do it yourself.

The burner must refer to the rate oif errors when burning audio to cd (my ide burner sounds less good than my scsi, that's all i can say).

yes,it's compatible but check cd factory's list of compatible burners to be sure.(most burners work).in theory,if the burner does what it's supposed to do,it really shouldn't matter as info should be info,(1's and 0's)unlike an analog recorder which has lot's of room for error.in practice,i'd bet that the mid priced to high-end recorders are probably all pretty good, but i'd bet that the real cheapies could be dodgy.(weeelll, i'd bet that quite a lot of burners from cheap to expensive use one of about three different laser units to do the job.i'd bet they all get parts from the same coupla places)
