hi guys

brand new to this forum , greetings ! .this is kinda a last ditch effort to find some info on the Powerpulsar package from CW and how to integrate it into Digital Performer.
my system is basically a G4/450 , 512 , motu 896 and Digital Performer 3.11 on OS9.1.
I have a couple of fx units and a few synths plugged into the inputs of the 896 and then monitored live thro DP's aux busses then out the main outs on the 896 straight into my monitors.
basically i wanted to know can i get a PowerPulsar or a Scope SP package to do the same thing. My other option is to go for a motu 2408MK3 , 24i/o and a UAD-1 Card , but the flexibility and power of the Scope platform is seemingly very appealing.

thanks in advance(hopefully)

I don't know the Pulsar <-> Digital performer coexistance (probably you have to use freemidi in OMS compatible mode or so - Pulsar has got only oms midi drivers) but I've heard it is possible to run such setup succesfuly. I would go for it (I've got Mac G4/400, cubase and 2 CW cards in it working almost no problematic). Pulsar (or even better Powerpulsar) can do the job exellently (onboard DSP fx, synths etc.) for you as your old system does. I wouldn't go UAD as it has got a latency much bigger than Pulsar (I can get 4ms at 44.1kHz, 24bits with my Pulsar with no problem). If I were you I would buy PowerPulsar. Additionaly the Pulsar sound (I mean the d/a converters) is very good!
