Hi all,

I've build PC's for several musicians and found a problem similar to all my cliënts;

All machines I sold ran Windows 2000, they've used Cubase VST 5.1
They all have Creamware PulsarXTC with 3.1a software.

No in cubase in XTC mode there is no midi signal when pressing keys on the midi keyboard, when I load the sfp, and set focus on an instrument, I have midi in ?!?

Does anybody know how to fix this ?

Last question, another customer uses Logic Audio Platinum latest release, he doesn't use XTC mode, if he changes focus from logic to sfp the logic complains with an asio overload... Any idea's ?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Regards,
Jeroen.

for midi you probably have to change your XTC-pro project, Check routing.

for asio overload you have to put more info about you set-up to let the "guru's" of this forum give you some advice .
otherwise with search you can find a lot on this topic.

To get a Midi-Signal you have to make a Midi-Reset in Cubase. I don`t know how that is called in the english Cubase version. In the german version it is called "Zurücksetzen".

It is annoying, that this isn't fixed yet. I had this problem earlier with VST too. With SX it seems to have disappeared.

Open task manager. Right click on logic.exe, or whatever the executable is called, and change the cpu priority from normal to high. This only works for the current session, but there is a more permanent solution by modifying the command line in the program shortcut, check this thread out for more info
