Finally my painful waiting is over! I received my first CW card ever, SCOPE/SP. I haven't had the time to install yet, but just can't wait for the first run!

With the card I received "High-end Virtual Studio" software. Should I install it? Or just download SFP3.1c from the net and run it?

Anything else you'd like to say to new-comer Pulsarian (as many of you may have seen I've been here for moment now, but You guys made me convinced to buy a CW card. I think everyone who participates in these forums, should receive a free plug-in from CW for every card sold  ).

you must start with 3.1a then update to 3.1c

your gonna love it!
don't forget to choose Scope SP as the installer..

and as well contact CreamWare for some things from the older SP software namely the _dynamic buss_ you will never be able live without it once you use it

What do you mean with this dynamic buss feature? Should I send email to CW and say "please send me something"?

I read on CW pages, that SFP3.1 is free for existing users of SFP3. But I only have v2.05.. does this mean I should buy SFP3.1 separately????

you can just download 3.1 from the cw site.(or one of the mirrors on the pz announcemenet page if they're still up)it's free.you might want to install 2.05 to get the devices that are not in sfp(like dynamic buss)

still,use sfp.(first 3.1a then the 3.1c patch)

You can’t repent on this one! Impossible! Just be wise enough to READ everything, study all the devices that you get with it, and you’ll be a happy music creator…

FreiFlug, I can assure you the price was a BEAST! WAAAY lower than the one of m-s.de

Nestor, study ALL the devices... that's a job of five years

Shit, still haven't had the time to step in! But tonight I'll do it.

Could someone explain on... some of you said there are some devices in old SCOPE software that are not n SFP? Why's that? Do I have to run them side by side or are the old devices compatible with SFP? And what are those devices (other than dynamic bus -what is it btw?) ?

once you understand the dynamic mixer you'll understand the dynamic buss

It's like having a dynamic channel in the project....

shit fuck never happy scope user!
UGh, sorry, but... Now I'm trying to install SFP and it gives just errors "Cannot open registry file". If I try to import Key File, I got millions of those errors. Filling keys manually, one error for each key.
What's wrong?

I am not able to install the old Scope software because the installer says "this is not compatible with NT, use 95/98 instead".
And I'm using Win XP.
