I saw a reportage of the Munich Beer Festival called Oktoberfest, it started the last days,again.
Millions of people losing their heads in sensless overkill drinking. There are as many ambulance man as in a war.
One litre beer costs 6.80 Euro. One euro of each beer could help many people. But they don´t think about it,they have their holy beer and that´s enough.
I´am sure that this track will show you my view of this Oktoberfest.

Oh by the way,today the hero of those bavarians could become chancellor of germany.

funny. hehe.

yesterday, i went to a concert with a friend. she used to grow up in bavaria, then went to stuttgart to study, and now has been living in antwerp for almost a year now. we were talking about the elections and the october festen. as a kid she always wanted to have a 'dirndl' (?), the folklore bavarian dress for women. she's a fashion designer now

she's in a great stuttgarter band 'electrolochmann' (transsolar label). they make beautiful emo music.

At last, a track from Chris that nearly all of us can all relate to – beer! This is a very positive progression for you Chris in your composing. I found it to be much easier on the ears than the meditational space music that you have been producing recently. I’m sure that all of us would welcome a workshop on this track, so that we can add another and very important style of music to our repertoires.

I don’t think we wish to know whether you plan to wear lederhosen (or a dirndl) for the whole of Oktober.
My only criticism is that you did not seek my copyright permission for the scream sample that you used. I’m sure that it was me screaming at the dentists last Friday or me screaming on Saturday when I downloaded a virus that wiped out my computer!

Seriously though – a good bit of fun. Thanks for bringing a bit of humour into our day, social comment or not.

Screaming Sample is not used here, I traveled through the Folk Music Sample with my mouse, on that way I could modulate the pitch and speed of this sample at the same time and in real time. The scream is the folk music sample.
And please, not another workshop, only 2 reviews, I don´t like to do something like that again,sorry.

Re your workshops – a small story for you.

After a very bad stormy night, a man was walking along the beach. He saw a small boy picking up starfish one by one, running down to the sea and throwing them back into the water, running back, grabbing another one and repeating the exercise. The beach was littered with hundreds of thousands of dying starfish that had been washed up in the storm.

The man said to the boy “What are you doing that for? You’re wasting your time. You’re not going to make much of a difference.”

The boy ran back down to the sea again and threw another starfish back into the water. As he did this he turned to the man and shouted “Ask that starfish how much of a difference I just made!”

i've been going through the work shop as well. i found some interesting techniques to apply. i'm busy doing other stuff now. sometimes i feel not like posting, just to add something (i have a bad taste for timing

). i'm sure others have waded through the text and found something useful, but did not reply.

to prevent letting the thread sink into the huge pile, i'd suggest to make a link with every new song you upload. you're one of the number one planetZ musicians, and people like your stuff. new comers will probably not be aware of your workshop.
give it some time, too. it's a big chunk of text...

But please, post the workshop related things on the workshop topic.
