Cubase stops MIDI-playback when switching to SFP

Problem : Cubase VST stops MIDI-playback when switching screen to SFP. By switching back it continues playing.

Sorry, I read a similar thread some time ago, but I don't remember it, and can't find it anymore.

My DAW : Win98SE, ASUS TUSL2C, Celeron 1.3GHz, 512MB, Pulsar1+Powerpulsar, SFP.

I'm NOT using VST-Instruments, XTC, Audio, ASIO etc., just pure MIDI.

Any Ideas ?

Oki format your hard drive and reinstall.. just kidding. You need to active 'Play in Background' in one of the Cubase dropdown menu's.
