if you prefere automatic mix from cubase (or other seq) then you can:

1. conect fx on this way

2. use only left in (on fx)

3. send signal directly from cubase trough cubase's bus

with cubase's aux send

btw: also if you have only one board on this way you can save some dsp by useing only micromixers in projects.

with this project i can run cubase, winamp and wavelab together and in sametime i can use pinquin analiser for all sources.

note: you must to set rec and play in wavelab to "creamware play/rec 2"

note 2:
if you won't use both masterverb's inputs then you can use 2 cubase's aux sends for every chanel.
also with cubase sx is possible to send stereo signal with 1 aux send (if is stereo track).

Another project that uses no mixer. ASIO sources get effects in SFP, they are monitored in Cubase and routed there to ASIO 6L/R Source. You could use any insert or aux effect. To use Aux, simply select channel's aux to the correct bus instead of aux effect rack. Remember, if you use aux, you can send it from the monitoring or monitored Cubase track. Send them pre or post inserts  Disable 'Direct Monitoring' if you want to use VST inserts on monitoring channels.
The wav source is on sidechain of the ducker to preview samples etc.

Thanks for mentioning the Ducker, Atomic!

I always find myself adjusting the volumes when previewing or editing samples offline. This is a great little trick to automate this volume adjusting.

Hi Omb
XP: Press Print, open Paint and save as JPEG.
A good free helper is ScreenShot Wizard. You start it, cursor turns to + and you press button until your area looks good and you release button. A wizard opens for the use of included plug-ins (you can skip this) and if it's worth saving you let it in the clipboard. Open Paint etc.

Alt-print just copies the active window instead of the whole desktop.
