With the SFP and Windows XP you can associate the extension .pro with the SFP. Double click on a project and select chose a program to open with and check always open with this program. You can also makes things faster by disabling startup in the settings. If you don't do those two things you have to open 2 projects before you open the 3rd project you want to work on! First the Startup then the Default and finally the project you really want. This takes a lot of time and it's stupid.

also you can run msconfig to see what programs come up when you boot windows that you don't know about. If you uncheck the scope you can make a shortcut to the startup folder on your desktop and put the current song you are working on in there and it will load when you boot up windows.
