Does the EASI driver exist in Pulsar 3.xx/SFP 3.1?
I'm currently using ASIO24 mods (for Logic 5 P) - good for now, but for Logic, I'd prefer to use Emagic's EASI driver - if it is available....
Any difference between ASIO/EASI?
Thx
Z

Why isn't EASI used? Since, afterall, it's by Emagic...

... Because it never worked with Creamware cards.
And because Asio2 works perfectly...

Good enough. I was just reading through some old article about CW releasing an EASI driver but couldn't find anything more than that. Thanks for the info!

No. Emagic's own soundcards use EASI, as do MacAV/PC AV. It's an intergral part of the audioengine in Logic.

When I say "drop" I meant that they weren't going to develop it any further and were going to concentrate on ASIO instead. (I'm trying to remember where I read about this)
