You will actually see the number of users drop a bit, when I do my regular house-cleaning (going thru and deleting all users who registered, but then never confirmed their account). There's currently 14 unconfirmed users...

I will also be revoking post-privileges for "dxl's mummy" - while humorous at a glance, is actually quite a violation of a lot of the principles on which these forums are based (non-anonymity, mutual respect, etc).

dxl's mummy ... yeah I would have banned that user the moment they came on, personal attacks belong in private messages, email, or somewhere not on PlanetZ. At least to my mind. I hope the good spirit of the forum can return now...

hmm, i pm'd the person frollicking around as dxl's mummy,. asking them to stop, and to request that nick be deleted by one of yourselves.

he gave me quite a long reply, but basically was just fed up with no moderation or restrictions being placed on dxl - so he resorted to doing what he did. yes it is kinda humourous, but at what expense and what is it accomplishing or more likely propagating.

at one point i cared, now i don't really. other people seem content just accepting dxl for who he is and not getting in some big huge battle over it, rather...just ignore him and take what he says with a grain of salt.
