Hello !

I have a Midiman 4x4 Usb midi interface, and I was wondering if there's a way to route the devices I have plugged on the midiman to the devices on the Pulsar. I've been trying to find if that's possible but I think the Pulsar only accepts midi from it's own midi input. I'd like to be wrong.

Please any advice?

thanks
snoopy.

I don't have a separate midi interface on my Pulsar box right now, so I can't verify this.. but you can try setting up a few more virtual MIDI ports in the Device Manager Pulsar config. Then, set up a freeware MIDI utility, such as MIDI-Ox, which lets you route one MIDI in to another MIDI out (if I'm not mistaken). Use a Sequencer MIDI source to get the MIDI into Pulsar.

I hope this makes sense (sorry, been a long day so I don't have the energy to give an accurate step by step guide  )...

It *should* be possible... but I haven't tried it so I can't guarantee it.

peace

I'll try to do as you say.

Is there someone out there who has done what dArKr3zIn says???

Possible to route midi from Pulsar's midi port to any of your hardware synths? Yes. But it requires a sequencer and both of Pulsars ports (input, output) to be connected to your MIDI man... then you use the sequencer to point the MIDI at the appropriate port (your choice of the other 3).
