I´m about selling my Sycologic devices which are usefull gear for musicians and studios owning a lot of MIDI hardware outboard gear.
2 Sycologic M16 (16 physical MIDI I/Os)
2 Sycologic M16R desktop remote controllers and their D-Sub cables.
1 Sycologic M16X MiDI Out Expander (16 physical MIDI outputs),- comes w/ it´s essential ribbon cable.
1 spare ribbon cable to connect a M16 to a M16X.
The devices are fully working and clean inside,- no (rechargeable) battery leak,- and they are fully tested when they were removed from my working MIDI module racks about 2 weeks ago.
They also got new and larger capacity VARTA rechargable batteries when we removed the smaller old ones before they leak.
Currently the units are in a separate rack being connected to a power outlet and w/ the remote controllers connected.
I power ´em up every few days to have fully loaded batteries for the case these will ship.
Remote controller´s displays are in perfect condition and readable.
Not enough, I own a original printed owners manual and one copy.
There´s also the very rare and original printed service manual provided by P.G.´s "Real World Studio".
"Real World" bought Syco Systems stock when they went out of biz.
And I own a couple of "Cross-Matrix-IC" replacements for the case any "source" or "destination" might fail.
These unused and rare ICs were also provided by "Real World".
I only had to replace ONE of these ICs within the decades I used the units.
The Sycologics had never let me down and I´m 1st owner.
The units also store MIDI program change numbers for each output and it´s selected MIDI channel for every of the 32 patch memory locations.
The entire data content can be dumped to a sequencer and is total recall.
Switching patches works via desktop remote controller´s keypad or via MIDI program change commands.
There´s also a MIDI monitor page visualizing what comes in MIDIwise.
I´ll be 70 yrs old in less than 4 weeks and suffer from extreme mobility issues.
So I decided to sell most of my MIDI modules and peripheral devices next future.
All my gear is serviced by a qualified and experienced tech working in my repair shop area in the basement.
He himself is NoahEX and Scope user, keyboardplayer, mixer/re-mixer and studio owner.
He also worked in a well known Hamburg/germany music shop doin´ the repairs in the past.
Rick Wakeman still uses these devices in his big touring rig and AFAIK Peter Gabriel too (touring and in his "Real World" studio).
Greg Phillinganes used it w/ M.Jackson, Toto and others and Tony Banks used ´em w/ Genesis.
I´m able to ship well packed and ensured worldwide by DHL.
If someone is interested,- please PM me.
I´ll provide pics then.
thx for reading,-
