This has come just at the right time as I'm soon to get a new computer, so with everything else being current (Windows 11, Studio One v6) it's nice to think this will keep things up to date and increase the longevity.

Hi Gary !

WHEN the beta will be released after NAMM (and whenever that will be),- do we find that release on S|C server for download,- or do we XITE users still have to sign up for the beta test team for download ?

:)

Bud
According to Holger's original post "It is planned that Scope v8 can be downloaded after the offer ends". The offer finished 28th March, so according to that statement from Holger Scope v8 should be available now. OR ..... we will be waiting till 28th March 2024 , 28th March 2025 ......

Or - could be we wait till someone buys an XITE allowing cash flow for the driver cert purchase :)

Either way - it's all good and I have set aside some cash for the separate XTC app. :D

This might need more time I guess.
When they have signed drivers, the beta testing begins.
That´s how I understood.
From there, more and more might get fixed and new stuff will be implemented.

With luck, we´ll see a Scope beta 8 upload monday, april 17th, earliest ´cause it´s the 1st workday after NAMM.
Reality might be later.

:)

Not everyone can grow up to be a Father, on that note I'm quite happy to be a Dad

No Scope 8 yet - but the highlight of NAMM proves we don't need new tech anyways - just an excuse to pay more for the old......

About 2K EURos for this FX pedal @Thomann is insane.

I remember I sold my original and biggest Binson Echorec model ever made for DM 250.- in the past.

And I´d say,- ANY delay in SCOPE, stock or 3rd party, is better.
These electromechanical (tube-)devices were a service nitemare always.

Now let´s come back to the SCOPE 8 beta in this thread and leave the other for "off topic".
