Midi note to CC

Post by yayajohn »

Does anyone know if there is a device? Seems like I've heard of one but I can't seem to find it.

Depending on exactly what you want to achieve, this module should help: http://bcmodular.wikispaces.com/Multi-Mo

You could hook the Note output of an MVC into the D2 input and a constant value to D1 for the CC number you want to choose.

Well that was getting a little too complicated for what I wanted to do. I ended up using my nanopad and setting the pads to CC triggers instead of notes and even though there are only 12, that will suffice for now.
What I am trying to do is simply load Mattomat connected to the EDS16 and use a trigger to transpose the pattern in real time. I was using the mouse wheel but the lowest I can get it to scroll is 3 at a time.
Perhaps I am going about this the wrong way? Has anyone tried setting up a Mattomat drum machine?

I can't say that I have, but I do know that the mouse wheel can be set to different steppings. 3 is the default setting here in my windows 7 machine. You could try and set this to 1 and see if that solves your problem of not getting lower than 3:

Thanks petal, are you getting 1 line at a time with this setting in Scope though? I'm on XP and changing these settings in the OS doesn't seem to affect the settings in Scope.
