They have only a few hours in three weeks, so a song should be 'written' and recorded in one short evening, from scratch, except the (Dutch) song text.
They record the tracks on a digital Yamaha recorder, and send them to me, unprocessed, to make something out of it.
Musically it's all minimal, but the passion is there.
For rithm they use a simple drumcomputer, in this case, a kick, a 16th hihat and a streight rim on the afterbeat.
To make the arrangement more interesting I had to break up the rigide devision in three voice blocks with following slide solo's, so I put a few extra bars in between, on two places (after voice1 and 2), en cutted away some solo bars in the endpart.
I also muted a few (repeated) words, the muted words in couplet 3 are actually placed back at the very end, so the singer couldn't feel bothered

For the beat workout I added a fat tommy loop with the same kick pattern as the original one, an electronic percussion loop, plus a transition fill loop.
On one guitar I put a dynamic wawa filter, to get some other sound.
Enjoy

Oh, the text is about those middle class families in those typical vinex residentials, falling apart. 'Ze vallen dagelijks', they fall daily. Anyway.
