scope synths midi out

What does it stand for and how does it work?
Can I for instance use SB404 as a midi sequenser and send it's midi out to a midi in of another scope synth?

Scope devices send out MIDI generated locally, on the devices, for example knobs you turn with the mouse (or FleXoR's Value Monitor controlled by an LFO) and which have CC# assigned to them.

Been long since I played SB404, but it doesn't hurt to try
