Where have all the old devices gone

Hey guys,

while transfering some of the free "planetz" devices from an old scope installation, I found a folder named "backwards-compatibility" which contains all of my old pulsar 2 and 3 devices, among them some pretty useless and outdated but others like FMOne would be still cool to have.
But dragging any of them to the routing window caused the key import dialog to popup asking for a key...what the heck? Why is this - yes I know for most of the devices it's good that they're gone - but why have all old devices ceased to exist?
