Contrary to the current sentiment, I love the vuvuzela and it's hypnotic tone, I wish there were a plugin to enhance it's frequency so as to drown out the dullard remarks of the English commentry

yes, i think so too. soccer is a dull sport anyway. if not for the drunken fools rioting in the stands and the flopping, nothing of interest might happen in a whole game....feg wrote:Contrary to the current sentiment, I love the vuvuzela and it's hypnotic tone, I wish there were a plugin to enhance it's frequency so as to drown out the dullard remarks of the English commentry

Love the sheet music - will try it on modular III later.
Have you got the Samba version for when I watch Brazil?
I remember hearing the hip hop variation of it and I liked that too!
Any other members got a favourite version of this track?

It's a game played by a lot of men in baggy shorts who kiss each other a lot and have a serious sense of the over dramatic when it comes crying foul.garyb wrote:yes, i think so too. soccer is a dull sport anyway. if not for the drunken fools rioting in the stands and the flopping, nothing of interest might happen in a whole game....
I don't remember that game when I was playing football. Maybe if I'd been paid the same as these footballers I would've fallen foul of the current style of the game too!
I'm still stuggling to find a vuvuzela instrument plugin and now that we have sheet music too I'm eager as ever to find one but I am being lazy as I do have modular.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

The empire strikes back!!
"German side Borussia Dortmund have banned vuvuzelas from their stadium. "These horrid things will be forbidden from the Westfalenstadion," said general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke."
"Our fans don't want to have these trumpets," said Dortmund's general manager, Hans-Joachim Watzke. "It is nerve-racking and completely drowns out any chanting."

Re: bye bye vuvuzela: Waves to the rescue

nerve racking and it disturbs the chants?!!
that sounds like a good reason to use it....in their own stadiums, people know what they want, so it's all good with me if they ban them(not that they care if i care, or anything,,,just saying...).

there sure is a lot of fuss over this though. picky, picky...
Re: bye bye vuvuzela: Waves to the rescue
Not only because you insist on calling a good game soccer and playing football like rugby for girls.
