Mod IV upgrade?
So Mod IV is sort of out now, but i thought there was going to be an upgrade price for ModIII owners, like they usually do. Anyone know if this is going to happen?

Jimmy said something about this, but I have asked S/C and they have not given an answer - however I don't think the final version is out yet...it's still officially in beta.... If it's full price I'll wait on it a bit....

I bought my upgrade a month ago as soon as I heard.
I always pay for any announcement immediately as the Euro seems to be kicking our ass these days...
Damn Socialists...
98 EU was close to 150 USD and since I like round figures I paid 150..
I love Mod IV and I am quite sure the tiny amount of inconsitencies I found are easily fixed.
Tape Delay has trouble being loaded in a patch that's of average size.
Some knobs need to be twisted manually on reloaded patches.
Like the Stereo Insert effect module.
These are very minor.
I really need a manual for the more scientific modules that I cannot possibly figure out.
But Julien has always responded and been quite helpful.
I never heard of a developer turning down cash before....and S|C is no exception..

Re: Mod IV upgrade?
You got a Xite during the short winter deal, then you have a special upgrade price for any plugin you choose (in fact, you have 50% cut off on 2 x plugs of your choice).stardust wrote:no such special upgrade price for the mortal
But I would tend to say S|C have published sthg like a Mod IV deal on their website for only a few days and some did get that deal during these days, because they monitored things. Then S|C unpublished it
