Hello.
I use Pulsar 1 and Pulsar 2 with S/TDM cable, and they are connected to A16 ultra and various a/d d/a converters.
I want to add sync plate.
Do I need two sync plates connecting each card?
or is just one enough?
Question about sync plate.

Re: Question about sync plate.
Just curious - is there any advantage to running a dedicated sync to Scope if you're using the Z-Link option from A16? Or is that mostly for ADAT transmission?
Re: Question about sync plate.
if you have a number of different digital devices that alll must be clocked together, bnc wordclock is the way to go. if it's just an AD/DA like the A16 and Scope card(s), then ADAT or better, Z-Link is perfectly fine.

How about it?krizrox wrote:Just curious - is there any advantage to running a dedicated sync to Scope if you're using the Z-Link option from A16? Or is that mostly for ADAT transmission?
Would it work with Steinbergs' VST System link or are they fundamentally incompatible, eg "scope mode"?
Re: Question about sync plate.
what are you talking about? the syncplate is about digital sync between hardware.
