z-link?

I see that there is a z-link option for i/0
in pulsar cards however i've never seen this format anywhere else.Is there any place to find more info about this ?I am thinking about upgrading to a digital console is there any known console using this format?

It's basically a FireWire IEEE-1394 port. However the only choices for it right now are the LunaBox, with the A16 Ultra in the pipeline.

The nice thing about it is 96khz/24bit, without sync issues or SMUX needed. :smile:

Remember, as of right now, the Zlink port is only for Creamware I/O boxes -- you can't plug your video camera into it. (but I've mentioned this in the Ideas for Pulsar thread...)
