Scope 4.5. installation problem

After getting a Scope project card as a present, i wanted so install it along with a pulsar 1 on my old athlon2400 system (xp). The problem is: Scope won´t install properly which means: the bin folder is almost empty (just the registry, c.set.ini and scopevst.cfg) but no scope application or all the other stuff. Also the app folder only contains 2 folders (Application and bin). Just copying the files from the installation folder won´t work. Any hints?

things are getting even more complicated:
I thought, well maybe, as the machine is set up new, i shall install the aspi-layer...no effect
so i thought: well maybe the setup-software, which i downloaded from the sc-website is broken, so i took the cd-rom with the setup-app i used often for my other computers...no effect
and finally i tried to use the 4.0 software...and guess what...no effect

so what is it.
the installation procedure is always the same, i tried different folders, different partitions, all the manual is there, the devices and stuff, and xtc and blabla, but the app folders is almost empty!!!

so if i copy the missing files from the setup-folder i get scope to run, but with lots of registration problems for almost any device, and, it´s funny, even if i want to view the dsp-load, he´s (or she?) is asking me for the serial-number.

So i had my share of strangeness today.
Any comments are highly appreciated

It sounds like you may need to run the valis batch file.

thanks for the input, i´ll check this later. right now i´ve just installed v5 and i am waiting for the new keys. The installation ran without any problems and all the files seem to be in the appropriate places. So keep your finhers crossed, i´ll report on the progress.

Just received my v5 keys, and scope is running without any problems. I´ll leave the 4.5. installation problem unsolved.
