How to record off Wave Source 1

Post by sonicstrav »

I have no idea how to do this - is there a recording module to a .wav file on hard disk?

Wave source -> Asio dest? (if your wave dest is taken i mean)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

you'll need recording software. routing the wav source is the same as routing a synth.

I know I can do it by routing into a DAW program - I just wondered if there was a 3rd party module that could be used e.g as an insert module in a channel strip that could record the incoming audio

there was some kinda wav recorder once, i think.

sts could be used, although it might be pretty clunky for that purpose...

Actually there are a few people here that said they really enjoyed recording into STS, but if memory servces it was because they were using it as a conduit for VDAT or another CW app that slips my mind.

So I concur, I wouldn't opt for that personally as routing back to software (or to another computer via digital connection) is just much simpler.
