I have never found a suitable Pan type effect for my Rhodes since most are the uaual left to right which are useful too, but I couldn't believe after 4 years I finally started to really check out the Device thread thoroughly.
So many are dead links, or just don't seem to be very effective.
But after a few hours of painful testing and deleting I actually found Shayne Whites Full Panning device and it is perfect for the Satellite Fender Rhodes Panning.

This is perfect.
I have an expression pedal and of course a CC Device attached to it and while it is fun doing this manually, I would love to assign some kind of controlled automation to it.
Being a moron w/ modular, is there any other way to to automate the effect and apply the rate of speed with some device..?
If not, is there a device in Modular that could automate this..?
Thank You,
Full Panning Device
Re: Full Panning Device
Hows 'bout this one from Brotha' Man at0m..?
The Val slider is going full left to full right and controlled byt the rate...
But when I hook it the Full Panning device I see no way to output the Val Monitor slider to the Knob in the Full Panning Device.

Re: Full Panning Device
according to memory it works this way:
assign a cc to the ValMonitor-Slider, say 33 on channel 2
connect midi out from modular to midi in of Full_Panning
assign the same cc 33 on channel 2 to Full_Panning
cheers, Tom

Ladies & Gentlemen..................................Astro....ankyu.
Kind of weird, I just got home and read this then opened up the project and the Modular Patch which had no CC's before, not only did it open with CC 74 ( conveinently a KS88 slider ) it sent No.74 to the Full Panning device as well....................Sahwheeet.
I assigned a Saw Up Wave, fixed the rate, and Voila.
For anyone who wants to know what a Satellite 73/88 sounds like, this is it.
Thanks Astro & Atom...
