What was the sound following the FM Piano intro.

Some great music in this one Paul, especially the first 3 mins or so. I was expecting ti move into a Air Sculpture like direction so the next few minutes were a real surprise.
Did I hear a modular one patch in there about 4:30? Can't remember the name of it.........

Nice, The noise is intended? I thought it was going to ambient and would have been happy but the drums are good too. I think the drums could be placed slightly further away, just a tad lower in the mix and with a little more reverb. They seem not to be blending with the ambient sounds as much as they could but that is my taste. The backwards sounds are so cool! I'm writing this as I listen to it. It's very satisfying to me. The best I have heard you do but I have a bad memory. I like the way it ends. You should chat with us in StillStream when there is a live DJ. Siriusbliss is there sometimes (Greg) from Planetz.

Yeah, the noise is intentional. I put a warping delay on both the drum loop and the congas. The backwards track you hear is from an old piece I did back in the very early 80's, kind of a backwards Frippertronics piece done with a Korg MS-20 on a 2-track Akai reel-to-reel (Akai 4000DS was the second tape deck).

I agree with the drums being a bit in-your-face but that seems to be an MP3 distortion of the true mix. There are a lot of sounds lost in this version you hear... One of these days I am going to Flac all of these Cosmics thingies up and share them through Fileden or something...

Like I said, I noodled this thing up on Monday afternoon. I really wanted something tribal for a rhythm track but could not get anything I really liked so I settled for this rather simple idea. WTF! It works!
