changing the loop points in sts-5000

I'm pretty sure it is not possible.
The only thing i found is that you can modulate the start point of the sample with velocity. The harder you hit the key the later the sample starts (or vice versa, it can be negative modulation).
This was on a STS 4000 though but i think there the same in those areas.
