not like they ever do that with synthsgaryb wrote:yes, Mojo is great as is Dynatube.
they are amplifiers. if you wish to have effects, you must use effect devices with them, like in the real world. the thing is, these amps are head and shoulders better than what else is on the market, even though other products have lots of effects. it seems like effects are an attempt to cover up the poor overall tone of the amp with some products....
I thought Dynatube emulated the cab as well.....yes, Mojo is great as is Dynatube.

Good point. In the virtual world they can be treated as seperate entities in that you can mix and match - one thing I like about Dynatube is the ability to use say a Marshall Cab with a Mesa Boogie head.in the real world, amps never get used without cabs...
Also very good.MCCY wrote:I think my knottsbox is the best freeware-solution. I have heard many guitar amp sims and for some things I really like knottsbox. The concept is by far not as straight forward as commercial sims, but with the presets and some easy knob movement you can get really real sounds

I wish I had tried this when I still owned my PC1600X, but it's gone now.at0m wrote:Hey gentlepeople, how about the variety of delays etc. available in the modular and devices forums? Or are you only using amp simulations on your guitars?
Depending on the tune, /me loves to put a modular delay in front of the amp, and give the guitarist a CV pedal inserted to Peavey PC1600x so he can control feedback from his pedal.
