The sad thing is that music in elevators & on answering/call waiting machines & stuff like that could be great music, but then, they would have to pay for the rights to be playing great recordings, so rather than do that & actually make the whole concept worthwhile for listeners, they screw it up completely & economize by playing lo fi recordings of some plonker playing midi files into a GM sound module. Idiots.

realy? last time i tried it a couple of years ago it had a very confusing windows 3.1 look about it.

A fond memory of my youth was when i reached up to the lift ceiling, bent the aluminium concentric circle speaker guard back, took out the speaker cone in a deft wrist flick, and bent the guard back. Sorted, and satisfying
