Hello Planet Z users,
I don't understand where my mistake is...
I connected Luna MIDI A Source with Sequencer Midi Dest 1 but don't get a signal in Cubase.
I checked the cable, the keyboard and my midi track in cubase is "creamware MIDI in/out".
The Cremware Midi In/Out device is activated in Cubase.
What did I forget ???
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

Midi Problem with Cubase 3 & Luna 2
Re: Midi Problem with Cubase 3 & Luna 2
it looks good.
did you plug into the "midi in" on the luna? they aren't marked. have you tried the other plug?
have you used a midi monitor(in the midi menu at the top of the routing window) to check for signal in Scope(luna midi source to midi monitor)?
are you seeing midi activity in the monitor on the Cubase transport?
obviously, you're setting up the routing window BEFORE opening Cubase, correct?
if there's midi going into the card, it MUST work.

Re: Midi Problem with Cubase 3 & Luna 2
first of all thank you for your quick answer
i tried both "midi in" plugs on the luna.
i used the midi monitor and it shows nothing
no midi activity in cubase (not in transport and not on the midi track itself)
when I try it with the virtual midi keyboard (the one from the sfp software) i get midi signal in cubase ???
and yes, i change the settings before i open cubase...

Re: Midi Problem with Cubase 3 & Luna 2
in that case, the problem is the midi cable, the adaptor going into the luna card, or the controller. are you SURE you're using the controler's midi out(sometimes crazy things happen...)?
Re: Midi Problem with Cubase 3 & Luna 2
Hi, try to remove routing from Luna midi in A to In sequencer destination and save as default.
I have solved!
