intermetro: 24hr Door to Door

Post by kensuguro »

happy new year! Can't waste my day off and not write a tune!

It takes 24 hrs roughly from my apartment in NY to Tokyo. Boy would I wish for that trip to be as smooth and chill as this tune. Any flight above 8 hours is horrible!

This one is less corny than the rest. Very house-ish, with the nostalgic flavor still being there. Pretty much just for timbre. The way the instruments are used are a mixture of a bunch of post 80s styles. Threw one section in there that's mega 80's... that phrase was where I started the tune.

I think this is the first song out of the series that's based solely on one loop / progression.

Jeez............I have to heavily medicate myself when we Fly to Hawaii for 8 hours.
24 hours........that's painful, especially because Papa has to stay awake to watch the kids.

New tune #7 sounds nice. Considering how much you have going on the mixes always are well defined.

Keep it coming.

oh man.. thank got we don't have kids yet. Traveling with kids is expensive, and stressful for the kids. I remember as a kid, airplane = ears about to pop.
