Namm Show and Sonic-core

Post by Mary Mungo »

I gather from the Sonic-core website, they are to have a presence at the January Namm show.

Unfortunately it's too far for me to travel, which is a real bind after all the build up as I'd idealy like to see the Xcite for myself and find out it's capabilities first hand and especially to see how much nearer completion it is and when I can buy it.
Is anyone going to the Namm show to see what this Xcite-ment is all about?

Got Ya' Covered Sista' Woman Mary,

I got my Badge from the boys already and registered.
I will be back w/ pictures and poses of the founding fathers.
Solaris, VAX77, XITE-1 and various other booths will be visited.
I have to fly in & out and be back to work the same night but on Sunday the 18th I will share what I find.

I shall try and get some pics of famous posers in the Guitar booths as well.
Seeings how my son will be bustin' my balls as he is flying down w/ me on a badge from a local retailer in Nevada.

With any luck I will be leaving with an XITE-1.
I still pray for one under my Christmas Tree, but I ain't holding my breath.

I'll be there - a 1 hour drive for me.
I'll be checking lots of things, including Xite...

yup, let's party!

Mostly Soniccore and Magix for me, as well as some publications I'm writing for.

I wonder if the 'Fucking Fucker' guitar amp will be there again. :D

Oh this is great!

Personalsed reveiws from discerning Scope users with photos too. I'm looking forward to them, oh yes. I'm hoping this is the case anyway :D

I'll be interested to know if you're able to walk away with an Xite-1 or two and the Namm Show is the release platform for the completed product, but then I have been dreaming of lots of presents for Christmas this year

Thanks Guys. Merry Christmas.

There will be plenty of pics and discoveries.
I am mostly interested in it's sheer power for hosting entire live shows.

My second primary concern is in house and 3rd party support developements have come along. The silence in the last 7 months from developers and SC can mean only one thing....they've been busy.

Another concern is how the GUI will be. I have overcrowded project windows already and need to understand how having ten times the power w/ no advancement in GUI would be?
Surely multiple screens might help out, but I think this must be addressed somehow.

I am sure the magazines will provide plenty of conjecture and interviews.
But my concerns go much deeper than that.

With any luck, I'll drag one back to Tahoe and begin punishing the locals.

Happy Holidays To You And Your Loved Ones.

You can't walk away with product at NAMM. It's not an open market show, but rather a showcase and premier show.

Doesn't mean I can't buy one out in the parking lot though

I know. I was joking.

Deals only done here. No purchases or walk-aways.

Hope they have boothbabes!

Haha - a search for "masturbating" in this forum brings up posts from you and Bingo.
And me now, I guess!

it's not derived from master, but manus (hand) meaning manual upstirring.
cheers!
