Hi,
while using Luna+Pulsar I a problem occures:
the system doesn't run at 96kHz.
The message is like STDM connection doesn't work. It's strange as all other frequencies
work well and all 7 DSPs are found...

The boards are very sensitive to heat build-up at that freq. Open your case and direct a fan at the boards. I've found that perhaps having both boards set to irq 9 helps, but I'm not sure if that is important. Sometimes when solutions get worked out not all of the factors always relate to each other. I would try the fan thing first, if your boards are in adjacent slots the heat build up is a known major problem and the good news is that a fan will fix the 96 problem immediately. That is unless you have other problems too.

About heat, here in Montreal it has been 96°F (35°C) for the last 5 days, and my Luna+Pulsar1 just wont start at all cuz of the heat... Even at 44.1... So Heat IS a big problem for Creamware cards, I think it's not normal it's getting get this hot... Yeah, I know, studio works with cooled environment, but I don't have any air-conditionner, and every thing else work... Even with two 'pci format vortex fans' + a twin fan over the card, it won't work. Have to wait cooler temperature to work, this is a shame

Once I had an Atari 800XL and as a storage medium - dedicated cassette recorder. During summer it was not possible to load any program normally - I had to put the recorder to my... fridge first (for about 30min), then you could use it (the recorder) for about an hour. Unfortunatelly it is not possible to put Luna/Pulsar to a fridge before using  . Or rather - fortunatelly ;B

the name of his band is
Microbits and the Cold Cuts
I originaly had two cards in slots 3+5 the heat build up was not an issue, when I added the 3rd card in slot 4, the heat problem started. The cards, right on top of each other in adjacent slots, add to one anothers heat.
There are other issues with luna and pulsar software wise, to get them to work together.
